With her flaming red hair and big blue eyes, Hazel went from being an ordinary Streatham girl to fashion modelling, advertising and film work in the space of a whirlwind year. She was even an extra in Titanic! No, not that one – the 1958 B/W version called A Night to Remember.
She was very pretty, with a bubbly personality, big sultry eyes – and big nylon knickers!
She kept that neat figure in trim by riding, ice skating and dancing.
