Helen Jones
Helen was a pretty, blue-eyed blonde from north London (or Woking – take your pick) who started out by linking up with a model agency and doing the usual promotional (and topless) gigs – Carnaby Street, motor shows, etc – with the dream of making it big in films and TV.
She was delighted when she was given a part in the 1970 British film Love Variations, though, from what can be found on the net, it looks little more than a load of smut going under the cover of “adult education”.
Apart from being a music fan with tastes ranging from classical to underground, Helen had the rather unusual ‘like’ of walking: “It’s safer. Accompanying boyfriends can’t run out of petrol on a ramble”. Clever girl.
Poor adorable Helen never made it big in anything. She appeared in various titles of 1970s soft-core mags and an 8mm semi-porn film with no soundtrack, possibly from the Harrison Marks factory.
