A sultry, curvy, honey-blonde housewife with come-to-bed eyes, ice-skater thighs and child-bearing hips, Joanne was one of the sexiest models ever seen in the more than 22 years that ToCo mags were published; an absolute bombshell. And yet she made only three appearances.

There are many such unfathomable disappointments leaving us mystified as to ToCo’s policy on the girls they chose – or rejected. Take a look at the photo of her in black seamed stockings at the top of the stairs making her entrance into the bedroom, tossing back her golden mane and throwing out the challenge of “are you sure you’re up to this, big boy?”

A bit of a naughty girl methinks − fully-fashioned stockings in two sequences, black, lacy fishnet tights in the third, and what were then called kinky boots in all of them. And a subtle hint of leather fetishism with that mini-skirt – bet it was bright red. And I’ll bet she didn’t wear it when hubby’s mum popped round for tea.

She deserved many more appearances. And so do we.
