Lisa Scott
This beautiful blonde is listed as Lisa Scott 2 in the model data file, as there was also another Lisa Scott who was seen 10 years earlier in Beautiful Britons No. 17. The Lisa Scott who we are most familiar with made her debut in Spick & Span Extra No. 22, Spring 1967. ToCo seems to have been very confused over her birthday though - see Personal Details, but what we do know is that she was a 1960s model, so she was definitely born in the mid-1940s which would have put her at about 20 years old for most of her appearances.
Lisa Scott came from Canada and met and married a Middlesex Englishman she bumped into at the Tower of London. ToCo couldn’t resist telling us she lost her head.
She became a British subject, settled in North London and worked as a secretary who really wanted to get into modelling (how many times have we read that?). But she did indeed manage to make an entry and appeared in some TV commercials and did some fashion and photographic modelling.
When Lisa wasn’t strutting her stuff on the catwalk, she loved flaunting it whilst skin diving and water-skiing in Cornwall. That, and her passion for volleyball, must be how she stayed so trim after becoming a mum. She was also a keen ice hockey spectator – part of the price tag of marrying a Canadian. Perhaps she got her own back by forcing him to watch cricket.
When she had taken enough exercise, she loved relaxing with visits to the theatre and concert hall, reading historical fiction, making her own dresses and producing sketches of her own interior decorating designs.
Lisa is seen in a dozen or so different outfits and locations - but in all her 17 appearances, she always sports the same bouffant hair-do, which is another little detail that makes her unique.
