Shipping Costs for Second-hand Books

I always try and keep postage costs as low as possible. Letters and parcels are always well wrapped and covered in a plain grey outer bag.

Ship to: United Kingdom £4 per order + £0.50 per item.

Parcels and letters posted within the United Kingdom will nearly always be sent using Royal Mail and, in most cases, will use recorded or a tracked service. For parcels weighing more than 2kg an alternative provider may be used, but you will be informed of this at the point of posting.

Ship to: Europe + £12.00 per order + £2.00 per item.

Ship to: USA + £20.00 per order + £5.00 per item.

Parcels and letters posted to anywhere other than the United Kingdom are usually sent via Royal Mail for anything up to 2kg. For parcels weighing more than 2kg, DPD is normally the preferred option, with a recorded or tracked service always being used. Customs labels will have the contents marked as “Vintage Magazines”. It is your responsibility to pay any import costs that may be due on entry to your country.

I do my absolute best to keep postage costs as low as possible. Posting books, in particular to the USA, has become very expensive recently. If either I or you feel that you have been excessively overcharged for postage, then I will happily apply a part refund on the overcharge. Examples where this is likely to occur would be posting a single small pamphlet or digest size book to the USA. Please contact me before placing your order if have any questions on postage and we can try and work something out.

Postage For Prints - USA Only
Postage to the USA will be charged as if you were purchasing a heavier magazine. I am aware that this may seem excessive, but rest assured, I will adjust the cost as soon as the item is packaged and weighed. I will promptly issue a refund for any excess postage paid on print sales. If you would prefer to receive a PayPal invoice for the correct amount, you will need to provide me with the exact details of the items you would like to purchase, including your correct email and shipping details. However, please bear in mind that your items will not be considered sold until payment is received.

Returns Policy
I always try to describe items as honestly and accurately as possible. However, if you feel that an item differs substantially from the description, then please advise me as soon as possible after receipt. Returns will be accepted within 7 days from receipt and items must be returned in original or similar packaging. Any refunds will be sent via your chosen payment method.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. These are quick and secure ways to accept payment with credit and debit cards. You do not need to sign up. Your card statements and accounts will read VFSERVICES.
