Sheer Chic No1 - Wanda Lidelle

This is a curious magazine that has Wanda Lidelle as the editor. It really is for the stocking enthusiast with a real mix of content and some great pictures with Wanda taking centre stage. It is though printed on really poor quality paper. I have scanned it and a digital copy will be available in time. I would love to know if there was ever a No 2.

If we are to rely, as we surely can, on the considerable evidence of Victorian and Edwardian erotica, the red-blooded males of both reigns had a major fetish with stockings. But the French too, even of the twenties and thirties, were equally enamoured of the delightful combination of smooth, inviting thighs arising in fleshy splendour out of the well-filled sheaths of stockings.
What of today? Have those dreadful, spider’s web tights killed all the delights of stockings.
Let me just say from my intimate experience as a photographic model and woman the answer is ‘no’.

Good  –  An average copy, that may have a combination of minor defects which could include light creases, small nicks to the cover or inside, some buffing to the spine, and the staples could be showing signs of early deterioration. The book, though, will still feel tight with no loose pages. A nice collectable copy.
