Fay Stevens

So Serious

Fay always appeared so serious, seen before in this location both dressed and undressed, in tan and black stockings. It was said that her husband took many of Fay’s pictures. She was certainly popular with ToCo, making 34 appearances over the years.

Peaches & Cream

LOOKING just like that sumptuous summer dish is FAY STEVENS, beautiful blonde of Kent, and currently we can't think of any office girl who is more representative of the allegory than Fay.

Sun In Her Eyes

Our cover girl this month is one of your favourite pin-ups from Kent, FAY STEVENS, here caught with the sun in her eyes.

A secretary with a bustling, progressive company in the City of London, Fay is all for progress but not for bustling. She likes to go through each day on a note of quiet confidence, as distinct from the more spectacular secretaries who sweep in and out like vibrant motor-mowers.

Fay's favourite sport is tennis, and though we don't know what her rating is as a singles player we're pretty sure she's in constant demand at mixed doubles. Who cares about winning all that much, anyway?

A Question of Glamour

It isn't much of a question, really, because FAY STEVENS is so obviously the epitome of glamour that the only point requiring to be answered is whether you consider her your answer to a dream.

Obviously, your answer to a dream must be your idea of perfect glamour, because answers to dreams are always just what you want.

If vitalistics impinge on the answer, then of course you have to know that Fay's tot up to 36"-23"-36".

Cute Wife

Here is FAY STEVENS, Kentish girl, as portrayed in a quartette of poses by her photographer-husband, who thinks there’s no pin-up as nice as his cute wife.

Fay Stevens

That's Nice

Yes, very nice.

It's secretary FAY STEVENS, looking much more appealing on the window seat than a pot plant. Fay is not only a secretary, she's also a housewife and looks as good in the kitchen as she does in the office. Mind you, the kitchen work is optional. The chains have-gone, like. Still, one has to eat, and hubby is always sneaking out into the garden. Wise bloke. He knows who's the better cook in his family.

Some Girls Like Mink

We don’t know what the actual figures are, but if we said five girls out of every six like mink we wouldn't be exaggerating, would we? There must be exceptions, anyway, even if these can’t be more than one in six. FAY STEVENS, for instance, would prefer a super white sports car.

Fay is a secretary, with natural blonde hair, and the softest smile to go with the fastest sports car. She’s only got an old banger at the moment, but if you can pursue an ambition with dedication and zest you’ll always get what you want in the end.

They’re All Wearing Them

To cope as cutely as possible with the embarrassment a mini-skirt can cause a girl when she sits in a low chair or gets into a low car, they’re all wearing Long Johns or jazzy reach-me-downs or colourful D.K.’s.

SUSAN SMITH is wearing them in white.

FAY STEVENS is wearing them in pink trimmed with white.

PAM JOHNSON is wearing them in red trimmed with white.

It's one way of covering up. And to think we once thought that post-war New Look was sensational. Have you seen any old news reels lately—the ones depicting that New Look? Even the girls of seventeen look like old maids in it. Marvellous, when you come to think about it.

In The Top Ten

New Favourite FAY STEVENS has already climbed into the top ten most popular pin-up girls featured by us, and we figure from Fay’s curvy cuteness that this was inevitable.

Fay, who decorates a London office five days every week, is bound to stay at the top while that same curvy cuteness is all her own.

Well, there aren’t many discerning guys who prefer bringing their stamp albums up-to-date to looking at pictures of Fay, and any who do rate sticking stamps the preferable pastime have missed out somewhere along the line.
