While we're on the subject of glamorous wives, here's one who lives in the country.

She's JENNY PIPER, a golden blonde.

Jenny had quite a career going when she was a bachelor girl. She gave it all up to settle down in a country cottage when she got married, and the fortunate feller who married her made a lovely speech all about how paradise had arrived.

Well, what with roses round the door and Jenny around the kitchen, you couldn't call it anything -else but paradise. It's the sort of thing that makes the cynics go off their own egos.

They’re All So Glamorous

There are a lot of nuts about who think nobody can be happy unless they're writing on walls or sleeping under railway arches. They're the ones who tell you that housewives are cabbages.

Here's our latest find, JENNY PIPER.

Jenny is a housewife from Farnborough, Hampshire, she's blonde, bewitching and bubbly.

She was a window dresser for a free-lance display group before she got married, and she worked mainly in the windows of Kensington and Oxford-street stores. It was warm work for Jenny but a treat for the passers-by. She looked a lot more vibrant than the dummies.

Now as a housewife she's a lovely cook and gorgeous to come home to.

A Mini is a Mini

Young Hampshire housewife JENNY PIPER lives in a fascinatingly rural village, where a stream chuckles its way around the cottages.

But Jenny is quite with it as far as eye-catching gear is concerned. With her long legs, Jenny fits into a mini as if the fashion was made just for her. Bewitchingly, she believes a mini is a mini and you can't compromise.

This is Jenny in her mini that's a mini.

Hence the expression, "Ah, knickers."

"Well, yes, I know they show," said Jenny, "but you don't have to look if you don't want to."

She's joking, of course.
