Suzi with an "i" or Suzy with a "y"—you choose. They are two very different girls. Suzi with an "i" can be found in book No. 145, and Suzy with a "y" can be found in book No. 143, in glorious colour from the Spick and Span 2000 range of eBooks.
I think Undine is an unusual name, so I looked it up. Originating in Latin, Undine is a girl's name meaning "little wave" or "of the waves." It derives from the Latin word unda, meaning "wave," and is the name attributed to mythological water spirits. More commonly known as undines, these water nymphs appear across modern-day literature. Well, I certainly think this Undine looks like a little nymph posing for us with a toy gun in her black stockings.

In November, I posted some pictures from some transparencies I have, and it was determined that they were actually of Maureen Stocks. However, I was puzzled as to why Boots The Chemist had developed them. After some background conversations with friends, it became clear that Maureen Stocks had been very active on the amateur camera club circuits. These transparencies were possibly taken by an amateur who belonged to a club for which Maureen might have been paid to pose. I imagine this particular member had his slides developed by Boots The Chemist. It's always nice to solve a little puzzle.
The set of pictures below is from Span No. 236 - April 1974, accompanied by the ToCo Mumbo Jumbo below them.
Maureen is such a corker of a dolly that no one can see enough of her, as they say. She lives down by the River Thames, which just keeps gurgling gently by her back door. She can fish from her large patch of lawn if she likes, and she has, in fact, been known to cast her line in first thing Saturday morning and fish all through the weekend until Monday morning.
That makes about 48 hours of continuous fishing. And as she's never caught a thing, is this a record?

Yesterday, I was digging through a large box of mixed prints that I have acquired over the years, often in small lots as part of other collections. For the most part, I have no idea of their original origins. These prints are mostly originals from the 1960s and '70s. Sadly, most can't be shown on this site, but there are still quite a few that I can display. Therefore, I've decided to spend a couple of months showcasing some of them on the blog.
The others, I may show on the Brazen blog, which I am determined to update with more regular posts. All prints are up for sale and will gradually be made available under the relevant category on the BrazenBooks site.
To kick us off, here's a nice original small print from the 1960s that would have been sold as part of a small set. All the others I have featuring this girl are slightly more revealing.
What I would like to say is that most of these are of unnamed models. If you recognise anybody and can add a name, please add it to the comments or email me via the contact page.
London's lovely Reshia looks oh-so-very sexy, teasing us on the stairs.
You can see more of the very pretty Reshia in full colour in eBook Nos. 53 and 125 from the Spick and Span 2000 range.
Here are three more slides, all very amateur. These were actually developed by Boots the chemist—remember those days? I like them; they are nice pictures of Maureen posing in her mail-order lingerie and black stockings. The originals are in colour, with her knickers and bra being a very bright red.
I do have quality scans of all these slides and might consider producing prints from them, but I'm not sure how much demand there is nowadays for prints. You can't beat holding a nice print in your hand, though, as it offers something more than an image on a screen.
What a fantastic bra! Wouldn't you just love to unclick it to reveal the delights it contains? Remember those days. Scan from a print.
Salesgirl JOAN YOUNG of Droitwich works in a gown shop and sells the most exclusive and expensive models to utterly rich customers. Joan is smart, elegant and deliciously tailored herself, but she's also old-fashioned. She simply won't be divorced from what she considers the irresistible look of stockings, even if she's thought positively dated.
She's not positively dated. She's delicious. And we agree. Stockings still have an irresistible look and an undying appeal. So there. Anyone for an anti-tights protest march? Starting from Glasgow and going all the way to Westminster? Well, get yourselves organised, then.

Here are two more nice shots of Maureen in her black stockings. I particularly like the first one, where she's re-clipping her stockings, unaware of the camera. In the 1960s and 70s, this was not such an uncommon sight on a day-to-day basis. Boys today don’t really know what they're missing. Always a treat.
Scots secretary JANE PAUL is also a model mechanic. Not that she knows very much about internal combustion as far as cars are concerned, but she does model in her spare time, and they often use her to advertise the mechanical perfection of the latest thing on four wheels.
They put her in ducky overalls next to the open bonnet.
We didn't think you'd go much on any overalls, however ducky, so here she is in a rather feminine skirt and a nice pair of stocking tops.

We haven't seen Paula for a while, so here she is to brighten your day—and what a stunning looking girl she is!
