Like all the most endearing representatives of her fascinating sex, she loves finding out in the kitchen. Her recipes are guaranteed, when the end product emerges, to make a man all sweetness and light.

 Sugar and spice in Cherie’s kitchen are a must. Sugar for the tastiest cookies, spice for the most mouth-watering savouries. How people can worry about what’s next on the telly when life can be made wonderful by having a good cook around, is beyond us. I’ll Be Ready When I’ve Found My Breeches

My horse was stamping at the door (said JACKIE BLAIR) and I was just about ready to take him for a gallop along the banks of the Clyde. Only I couldn't find my breeches.

 I'd found my boots and garters and my warm sweater, but I couldn't find my breeches. I'll be ready when I do find them.

 Only I can't go like this.

 They'll all laugh at me.

Farmers Help

During the war, the British farmers were helped out by land girls. Since then they've had to rely on volunteers whose love of turnips makes them compulsive week-end land workers.

Whilst not exactly a turnip-fiend. DEBBIE STEPHENS does love farms. At harvest time, she's to be seen actively pitchforking hay. We caught her after she’d finished a day's stint and was changing from an agricultural boiler suit into her going-home outfit. Debbie said if she'd known we were coming she’d have changed behind the hedge.

But we caught her out. as it were, and Debbie looked every glowing inch a farmers' dream help measuring 37-23-36. We took some dishy photographs.

We had a glass of dairy milk afterwards. It was quite intoxicating.

ANNETTE WILSON, whom we feel we could suitably title the girl we'd most like to be lost in a fog with.

Like all beautiful blondes, Annette looks a wow in black, and that includes a black bikini on a bright beach.

You may have other ideas about how you like your favourite blondes to dress, but from the colour point of view you’ll admit black does more than something for Annette.

The outfit itself helps more than a little, of course. It’s Annette’s own favourite pin-up wear, and what’s good enough for Annette is certainly good enough for us.

Pamela hails from Rotherham and we must say she looks an absolute peach in her long black boots—but so she does, anyway.
