Margo Stevens

Put Your Skates On

Looking very cute in her skating skirt, MARGO STEVENS could obviously get around the rink a lot faster if she put her skates on too, but since she's not yet on the rink she isn't all that bothered. She just wants to be sure that the skirt fits before she tries out a figure eight.

Anyway, skates might cut up the carpet, and we don't consider them anymore essential to the current background than Margo does herself. And who's skate-conscious when Margo's legs are so photogenic?

Nicola Taylor and Marie Graham

Sunshine Snaps

It was one of those lovely days which called for a camera to record what sunshine can do for the subject.

And our glamour girls NICOLA TAYLOR and MARIE GRAHAM took turns to put each other on record and to say 'cheese'. Marie said 'pickles' once and Nicola said it didn't look as good as cheese.

"I know," said Marie, "but when I think of cheese I always think of pickles too."

Jennifer Goodman

Welsh Charm

Soft-eyed, lilting-voiced and dark-haired are many Welsh girls, and appealing in her own natural charm is JENNIFER GOODMAN of Swansea. Welsh readers who frequently ask for more features on their own girls should find Jennifer just the right answer. If they don't, they're too hard to please.

Jennifer is a wages clerk, and a darned delightful one at that. whose hobbies are dressmaking, designing, music, modelling and men. Don't ask us in what order just make your own guess.

Jennifer's vitalistics amount to 35"23"36", which means the structure is nicely streamlined and the curves just right. Out and about she is glamorous and eye-catching and she's not far short of this indoors, either!

Barbara Bonge - Gisela Schumann - Verena May

Three Girl Mix

These three shots are all of lovely VERENA MAY, a starlet featured in German films, and who has a dark beauty not usually associated with fair Teutons. The hairstyle can change the look but not the girl.

Windswept on a swing is GISELA SCHUMANN, and snug in a chair is BARBARA BONGE.

Joan Russell

Lucky Old Dino

Don't know what it is. Something from the astral world, we shouldn't wonder. Found its feet though. Got 'em nicely under the table at the home of JOAN RUSSELL of Ayrshire. Lucky old Dino. Name's all right but face is a bit funny.

Joan thinks it's cute.

Looks like a freak doing a freak-out to us. There's Joan with her lovely legs that have won prizes for their shape, and there's Dino, and if Dino doesn't look the oddest shape beside Joan, we're not seeing as well as we used to.

Joan is our idea of what's magnetic about Scotland. Dino is our idea of what's lucky about an oddity that's got its feet nicely under Joan's kitchen table.

Marion McGregor

Oh, On The Bottle, Are We?

Oh, On The Bottle, Are We?

"How dare you?" said MARION McGREGOR.

"We were only coining a phrase to fit the look of things.”

“| only drink fruit juices," said Marion, "they help to keep my measurements static."

"'Whatter?"

"Static, you fool," said Marion, "that means constant."

"What's constant, darling?"

"In my case," said Marion, "constant is 37-23-36. Any other questions?"

"What are you doing tonight, dearest?"

"Washing my hair," said Marion, "and please don't call me dearest at least, not until you've invited me home to meet your mother."

What a cute girl.

She lives in Ayrshire, which is in Scotland, which is full of bonny bunnies, and we've always been pro-Scottish. We like bonny bunnies.

Christiane Schmidtmer

Star Billing

Tops on the Continent is West German actress CHRISTIANS SCHMIDTMER, the girl who gets star billing on TV or the screen not just because she’s beautiful but also because she’s got talent

Add to talent those long and lovely legs and you must have a winner.

Christiane, in these shots posed exclusively for us, reveals just how beautiful she really does look around her home and just why the wolf whistles echo non-stop outside.

Shirley Holden

Boo to Bimbo

Favourite around this house is long-eared Bimbo, a real pet as far as

SHIRLEY HOLDEN is concerned and seeing that this puts our own ears out of joint they're not long enough all we can say is boo to Bimbo. Shirley is a gay Scot and a happy housewife, and that their Bimbo is sneaking half the picture. You can tell that by the grin on his face.

Well, any Bimbo who sits on Shirley's lap is a spoilt Bimbo - he's old enough to be sent out on a paper round. Outside her regard for Bimbo, Shirley is a fan of Queens Park Football Club and a keen hockey player.

That guy is right in the picture again, but not so much that we can't see Shirley is just as photogenic as he is. In fact, long ears never look as captivating as long legs.
