Sleigh Belle

Well, not all of us hogged the fireside during the recent snow blitz. Some of us took off from our armchairs to participate in winter sports. Like CATHERINE SMALL of Glasgow, for instance. It takes more than a ten-foot drift to beat a bonny Scot, especially one who's found a toboggan in her attic.

Maybe if she could have found ski trews as well, Catherine would have been a little better equipped all round, except that the frills and spills in the snow wouldn't have looked as gay as they do here.

But what do you do with a wet skirt? All that snow may look like a dazzling platform to fairyland, but once you've rolled in it you find its pretty damp stuff.

Well, never mind-when you're wet, you're wet, so here we go for another spill.

Igloo Look

Fascinating, those Eskimoes.

They eat decomposed fish, you know, and it gives them a lovely complexion. They wear huge boots and thick furs, and they always look as if they're expecting the weather to be considerably parky.

ANGELA SHAW isn't an Eskimo, but she does have a beautiful igloo look in her white fur ensemble. All the fish Angela eats has to be fresh, and as her complexion is lovely too, we're not sure if we've proved anything or tossed an argument into the arena.

You work it out. We're going to find an igloo.

Maggie McCully – Back Office Beauty

Another great picture from Tocofan, I think taken from a contact sheet. Maggie McCully is standing on what must be, by now, that infamous back office ToCo table that has been seen so many times in their magazines. Maggie has a slightly odd expression, which is possibly why it was never selected to be published. However, she certainly has a fantastic pair of legs hidden under that very typical style of dress that she seemed to favour so much.

It's sort of sylvan-like in the woods, and even more so when LINDA DEANE is around. Linda, corn-coloured blonde, is fair enough to beautify any place and can always be counted on to improve the look of a discotheque or a woodland vista. Linda is a London model, working in both fashion and glamour spheres, and she has a lovely figure of 36"-23"-36"

The home comfort we'd go dotty about is JULIE BLISS, brown-eyed silver blonde who's not only lovely to look at in a drawing-room but also singularly adept at amateur dramatics.

Jane Paul - Looking Right At You

Something to cheer everyone up a little on a wet Wednesday afternoon. Another Tocofan treat, Jane Paul perched on what looks to be a kitchen worktop, taken from a contact sheet. It was interesting to see the comments that yesterday's Nicola Taylor picture provoked, and I am going to say it again that Jane Paul would definitely not be in my top ten of ToCo girls. However, I know that there are some real fans of Jane out there who would disagree with me. So, without stating the obvious, what is so special about her? She doesn’t really smile enough for me.

It is, however, a very nice picture of her looking relaxed and natural as she kneels on a rug in a secluded countryside spot or a garden.

Why Did Henry Leave Home

Lots of men leave home. They usually leave immediately after breakfast, but if they don't get back in time for evening dinner, they're in dead trouble.

There was an awfully nice bloke called Henry who was never going to leave home. He was looked after by an iron-jawed housekeeper who wanted to keep him for herself.

Then Henry saw the loveliest dolly passing by. She was so fabulously dishy that Henry knew he'd never feel the same about his train set. He locked the iron-jawed housekeeper in the pantry and left home.

He caught up with the superb dolly bird. She was LISA SHANNON, one of the swingers who make London look ravishing, and after raising his hat Henry said he was mad about her and would she like to go off to Greece with him.

Lisa handed him over to a policeman. Henry explained, the policeman understood and told Henry to stand in the rain for an hour. Henry did and went back home all wet.

In case Henry is looking in and is vastly interested, Lisa's lovely figure measures 39-24-37. Much better than a train set.

Who wouldn't want Molly McBride sitting on the bonnet of their Morris Minor? This is the back cover picture for Span No 245. Molly was definitely a ToCo 60s model, a picture that ToCo regurgitated in their dying days of the 1970s. It may not be of the best quality, but it is definitely worth showing. I like It.

Two more pictures of the girl who stole the painting from the private collection of negatives. I can't make up my mind about her; she looks a bit scary to me. I like the second shot where she appears a little surprised by the camera as she adjusts her stockings.

Glamorous Aussie

All I can say, said Bertie Shoemaker as soon as he clapped eyes on the pictures of HEATHER CHAFFEY of Australia, is that if I've got to go twelve thousand miles to see her in person, I'll go even if I have to walk it.

Can't blame the feller. Heather of New South Wales is a living doll, and if there are others like her Down Under, we'll go with Bertie and see if we can't actually get there before he does.

Heather is a happy housewife with a lovely home and a sunny garden, and just about our idea of the best reason why we suddenly want to emigrate. We don't want to work in the outback or dig for nickel, however, we just want to take the house next door to Heather's and talk to her over the garden fence and join her for coffee.

Heather must have been a real beaut as a baby, because just look at her now, cobber.

Oh, trying to be all matey and Australian, are we?

You bet we are.

For all you blokes who collect mathematics, Heather is 5' 7" tall and her vitalistics measure 39"-24"-37". Kinda cute, curvy and cuddly, mmmm?

Yvette is seen sitting on the grass, posing for the camera but she appears a little uneasy about it all. However, in the second picture, she gives us a glimpse of a smile. There aren't many pictures of Yvette, which is a shame because she is pretty girl with great hair colour.

Yorkshire Housewife

They don't come any better-looking than they do in Yorkshire, and that applies not just to batter puddings but to dolly girls, housewives and cricketers.

PAT ROBERTS is a Leeds housewife. She used to work as a secretary in a newspaper office, where some tall dark man fell for her and proposed to her. She married him and now she's a full-time housewife with two young sons.

Her interests and hobbies make lovely normal reading in this day and age. Her main interests are her husband and children, social parties, and cooking. Her hobbies are dressmaking, reading and antique shops.

How about that, dropouts?

You can be normal and happy. It's not all that difficult.

Pat's ambition is to win the pools, acquire a larger house and lots of antique chiming clocks. She likes the sound of the clocks all going off together.
