Yes, in your opinion one of the most fascinating models of today is SUSAN DOUGLAS.

Susan, principally a fashion model, lives in Kent and has acquired the talent to look just the way you like her to look in every outfit and every pose. Her fans are spread all over the world. Frenchmen ring us up and ask us to fly her over to Paris, where they’ll meet her with flowers and perfumes. Italians want to pinch her. Americans want to give her film tests.

Susan, however, keeps her head about it all. She likes things as they are. She doesn’t want to jump over the moon. It’ll make her giddy. She’s happy, contented and swinging.

Nothing of the kind. Well, she’s only going to build up bone and muscle in others. Sue herself is going to remain a delightful eyeful. If she doesn’t, we’ll shoot someone.

Seen just off the Embankment Gardens, London, Sue looked like a breath of summer sunshine on an autumn day, and if other physical training experts are proud of their bulging biceps, we don’t care a bit as long as Sue doesn’t acquire any.

Yes, very nice.

It's secretary FAY STEVENS, looking much more appealing on the window seat than a pot plant. Fay is not only a secretary, she's also a housewife and looks as good in the kitchen as she does in the office. Mind you, the kitchen work is optional. The chains have-gone, like. Still, one has to eat, and hubby is always sneaking out into the garden. Wise bloke. He knows who's the better cook in his family.

It Was, a Nice Day For The Anglers

There was a posse of men on bicycles heading for the river.

"He's gone thataway," called TONI TOWNSEND.

"Who has?" they asked.

"I don't know,” said Toni, "who is it you're after?" Then she emerged from the trees and as one man the posse fell off their bikes.

"What a nice day," said one, "you fellers ride on. I've gone off the trout for once."

A very natural reaction too. Who wants to spend all day fishing for trout when he could help Toni look for wild woodland flowers?

There was the floor to dean up after Uncle Perce had been. He's a chain- smoker and never uses an ash tray. He'd called on KIM WEST to talk to her about bringing him back a cane rocking chair when she went to Madeira, and he flung his cigarette ash all over the place.

So, Kim had to get down to some floor-sweeping.

Not having yet reached an age or a state where domesticity is utter bliss, Kim didn't exactly rush at it. But she looked ever so pretty when she was operative, don't you think?

It’s not the first time we’ve featured gay JANE McKAY, who always turns up at regular intervals with a smile. Jane has something to smile about. She’s young, she’s pretty, she’s popular with the boys, and she’s earning lots of money as a shorthand-typist.

Always glamorous, Jane is proud of her trim figure, which looks good whether she’s wearing a sweater or a bolero. Jane works in the City of London and does the occasional pin-up modelling for us partly for the fun of it and partly for the pin money. The latter helps towards her wardrobe and her annual vacation.

Jane has lots of friends, gets lots of laughs out of life, and is really as lively as a porpoise. Maybe a porpoise can do more tricks in the water, but no porpoise looks as good!

Obviously, there's a touch of the mysterious east about CAROLE SEFTON, who hails from Bradford, where there's a lot of wool about.

That's nice about the wool. One needs it in the winter up there. One needs it all over in any winter. As for that lovely almond-eyed look of Carole's, the fact is her mother is Chinese and her father is English. Carole is eighteen right now and works for a mail order firm.

She's very athletic, likes a gymnasium and adores swimming. She's a flasher in the water which means she can go. She also has lovely teeth, very useful to bite any audacious wolves with. They have them in Bradford too, you know.

Carole represents the best of both parents which shows what can develop from a good mix.
